Trond Lossius is one of Norway's most established sound artists and is research director at Bergen Center for Electronic Arts. He is a member of the international software development group "Jamoma" creating specialised programs for ambisonic sound installation, and he has collaborated with numerous artists, theatre companies, musicians and dancers. Trond Lossius and Jeremy Welsh have in recent years produced a series of audio-visual installations with HD video and multi-channel audio. During the early 2000's they also collaborated with Jon Arne Mogstad on a series of interdisciplinary projects combining painting, installation, electronic images and sound.

In this workshop there will be daily lectures/presentations and practical exercises designed to help students develop an understanding of sound as a medium for installations and sculptural works.
