About my art practice.
In my practice I use photographic materials to explore questions about perception, association of ideas and aesthetic cognition.
Currently I am exploring a photographic process and how to convey the idea of the process of photography rather that the final print on the wall. Photography continues to play an important role in how we percieve the world, the multifaceted uses of photography makes it an important field of study. The ontology of photography is allusive and because of the constant development in technologies so it is essential that we continue to develop an understanding that considers both the beginning and the historical development aswell as situates it in a contemporary context. We cannot solemly rely on theorists of the past to contextualise our present.
