What are the elements in time that shape our interests, guide us in our choices and create the mental atmosphere in which we live and work? How is ‘the spirit of the period/time’ formed? The lecture discusses terms like “doxa” and “common/collective consciousness” and how they are manifested both in contemporary art and its reception.
