TRONDHEIM ACADEMY OF FINE ART
Michael Duch (associate professor Music Institute) and Jeremy Welsh (professor Kunstakademiet) have ben collaborating for several years on interdisciplinary projects within contemporary music and media art. At Dokkhuset they will talk about their collaborations, present extracts from some of their film projects, and will giva a short audio-visual concert performance.
Their joint works have previously been seen at Trondheim Cinematek, Kunsthall Trondheim, Bomuldsfabrikjken Kunsthall Arendal, Kunstgarasjen in Bergen, Sounding Out The Space - an international conference on sound art at Dublin Institute of Technology, and in 2018 one of their works (Opus 17a) was featured in Doppelleben, an exhibition on contemporary art and music at MUMOK, the Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art in Vienna. During spring 2019. they will also participate in a project in Galleri Kit on 10 - 11 April together with several other musicians and sound artists.
