The Langham Research Centre perform a new composition "Muffled Ciphers" as part of Ny Musikk's Only Connect Festival in Oslo, which this year is dedicated to the works and the influence of novelist JG Ballard. The concert is accompanied by a series of 35mm slide projections made by Jeremy Welsh. The Langham Research Centre perform electronic music using "original" instrumentation including tape recorders and analog electronic devices. They have recorded two albums of compositions by John Cage, as well as developing their own compositions. Jeremy Welsh and Langham Research Centre previously collaborated in 2013 on an audio-visual concert commissioned for the Borealis Festival in Bergen.
