A look at the discourse regarding space travels within art practice and popular culture.
Program:
- Jeremy Welsh: “Spaceman”, an illustrated lecture on the image of the astronaut in art, literature and popular culture.
- Filmmaker Inger Lise Hansen will talk about her productions
- Artist duo Bull.Miletic: The Progressive Geography of the Aerial View in Motion
- Johanna Edgren: Screening of a new video
The seminar is a collaboration between Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art and Trondheim Academy of Fine Art. Free entry.

Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art presents a video program consisting of four films, from the 1980's and the 2000's, all of which engage with notions of "space" literally and metaphorically.
The program is curated in collaboration with Jeremy Welsh, artist and professor at the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, NTNU.
Special afternoon screenings on Thursday 7 April @ 12 – 20. The video program starts every whole hour. Last screening starts @ 19.00.
