"Colonel Sandurz: Now! You're looking at now, sir.
Everything that happens now is happening now.
Lord Dark Helmet: What happened to then?
Colonel Sandurz: We passed then.
Lord Dark Helmet: When?
Colonel Sandurz: Just now. We're at now – now.
Lord Dark Helmet: Go back to then!
Colonel Sandurz: When?
Lord Dark Helmet: Now.
Colonel Sandurz: Now?
Lord Dark Helmet: Now.
Colonel Sandurz: I can't.
Lord Dark Helmet: Why?
Colonel Sandurz: We missed it.
Lord Dark Helmet: When?
Colonel Sandurz: Just now.
Lord Dark Helmet: When will then be now?
Colonel Sandurz: Soon.
Lord Dark Helmet: How soon?" (Brooks 1987)

The NOW course introduces notions of untimely timeliness and constructions of now through the immediacy of language, moves, props, lighting and the speed of transmitting what you perceive.

Over the 8 sessions different artistic methods and techniques to construct now and deconstruct it are explored producing other states of nowness and being in-time. The course aspires to a collaborative model of working together, with artistic expressions to be discussed and experimented through Reflection in Action (Schon), short lectures, theme finding, visual recording and producing on-the-spot performative exercises.
