From 16 - 20 January there will be a short intensive course in glass techniques, to be held at S12 Gallery & Workshop in Bergen. S12 is Norway's leading center for experimental work with glass, focussed on sculpture and installation where glass is a primary material. The course will introduce a range of techniques including glass blowing, casting and sand-blasting. Students will be given introductions to these techniques and then will have the opportunity to experiment themselves. The course will be led by Maria Alms Frantzen and Æsa Björk, two artists with long experience in working with glass.
